1 in 4 of us will experience a mental health condition in any given year. We can all take daily steps towards improving our mental wellbeing. Read and share stories about overcoming poor mental health and achieving positive mental wellbeing to help us build a happier Lancashire.
It’s great to hear what other people are doing and celebrate how far people have come but we know that sometimes reading other people stories can effect the way we feel about ourselves. If you feel affected by any of the stories and want to talk to someone, please call Samaritans on 116 123 (open 24 hours) or the Mental Health Helpline for Lancashire on 0800 915 4640 (open 7pm – 11pm weekdays and 12pm – 12am Saturdays and Sundays).
If you live or work in Lancashire and would like to share your story in a blog, email your contact details and a brief outline of your story to firstname.lastname@example.org
Please note: we expect to receive a lot of interest from people who’d like to share their story and, therefore, might not be able to respond to everyone straight away.
