'It seems a distant memory of visiting various schools weekly to deliver mental health and wellbeing workshops and assemblies', says Paula, Project Worker for the Community Development team. 'Getting to know the kids and the various struggles some of them have has been on my mind; how are they getting on at home, are they using positive coping strategies and will they transition well going back into school when life returns to a somewhat 'normal'?'

Having to turn their major projects and services for schools into the digital realm was swift for the Community Development team with various workshops, support documents and online resources created to ensure that the region is as prepared for lockdown and learn from home as possible.

One such document is the School Newsletter that have been sent to schools in the area covering themes such as loss, staying safe online, self-harm and much more.

To ensure as many as people as possible benefit from these newsletters we have decided to publish them here!
