Back in May we decided to launch a competition to keep Lancashire busy during their once-daily allocated exercise.

The challenge was to share a photo of our beautiful county, donate £3 and to tag 3 of their followers to do the same.

At Lancashire Mind we never expected such a reaction and the entries came flooding in!

We announced our winners at the end of June, which were:

Gold Medal - Shafiq Khan

Silver Medal - Dot Collinge

Bronze Medal - HappyJustWandering and MMcNeill Photography (with so many entries, third place was too hard to choose, so we picked both!)

The entries were stunning and a sense of true community was created with a shared appreciation of what Lancashire has to offer.

One of our 'Five Ways to Wellbeing' is 'Take Notice' and we thought whilst people were out and about 'Being Active' (another of the five ways) then sharing photos would be a lovely way to find the positive during an uncertain time.

There's even been talk of creating a Lancashire Mind 'Love from Lancashire' calendar and we plan to make the competition a seasonal event!

So if you like what you see and believe in what we do, there's still time to donate!
