This year we have gone virtual and are hosting our annual conference on Webex, a secure platform to enable engaging opportunities to find out more about good practice in the workplace and raise awareness of mental health at work.  We have a fantastic line up for a full day event on Thursday 4th February 2021 to support Time To Change's 'Time To Talk' campaign.  In recognition of the impact 2020 has had on many organisations and employees, both good and bad, we have managed to reach out to national and local speakers to consider how we move forward positively into 2021.   We aim to promote good practice and challenge stigma, to ensure we all have someone to talk to about mental health and wellbeing.

As part of a full day event commencing at 10.00am and closing at 3.30pm (with breaks for lunch and opportunities to step away from the screen throughout the day), Lancashire Mind are delighted to be able to provide you with a range of perspectives from leading organisations in workplace mental health and wellbeing.  Our core conference element includes a range of distinguished speakers, who aim to inspire you to start the conversation about wellbeing at work.

  • Emma Mamo, Head of Workplace Wellbeing at Mind
  • Jamie Compton-Rae, Head of Business Development at the National Centre For Suicide Prevention
  • Ama Afrifa-Tchie, Head of Culture and Wellbeing, Mental Health First Aid England
  • Joanne Smith, Health and Wellbeing Strategic Lead at Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust

To learn more about our speakers - please follow this link Speaker Details for 2021 Conference

You will have the opportunity to ask questions following each speaker's presentation and, in the afternoon, we'll come together in smaller groups to explore some of these questions in more detail. You'll be able to share good practice and learn from other delegates about the ways in which mental health can be supported in the workplace.

This is our 4th annual workplace wellbeing conference, here are some of the comments we've received from delegates in previous years:

"Excellent conference, very inspiring and came away with lots of ideas."

"The day was really well planned with a good range of contributors."

"I came away with many ideas on how to develop our wellbeing programme to the next level."
