This year we are asking you to help us create Lancashire's biggest collection of images taken by you to be shared in an online album for everyone to enjoy.
Of the images we receive 12 will be selected to feature in the 2022 Lancashire Mind calendar.
How do I get involved?
It's easy! Simply:
- Take a photo
- Add the hashtag #LovefromLancsMind
- Tag Lancashire Mind using the social platform you are on
Facebook - Mind Lancashire
- Take a photo
- Email it to [email protected]
The competition is open from Tuesday 1st June to Friday 30th July.
As we begin to explore our lovely Lancashire again we are asking you to send us photos you've taken from anywhere in the county via our social media channels so that we can share these across our communities and create our second Love from Lancashire calendar and digital photo album for everyone to enjoy.
Love from Lancashire is all about bringing people together to celebrate Lancashire whilst helping Lancashire Mind work towards our vision of Mental Wellbeing for All.
Any one can take part in the competition, whether you are new to photography or have been taking photos for years. You can use your phone, tablet or camera. The most important thing is getting outside, getting involved and enjoying it.
We want people to use the competition as an opportunity to 'Take Notice', which is one of the five ways to wellbeing.
- Share images from your run or walk
- Find a moment to appreciate and capture the beauty in your garden
- Reflect on the sights you see when out with family or friends.
Fundraising Lead Emma Bateson said: “Love from Lancashire was such an uplifting, inclusive and inspiring competition in 2020 and we were overwhelmed with the response we got and the array of beautiful images from towns, cities, parks and country sides across the county."
We are delighted to be running this competition again and encourage everyone to get involved and send their images in using the hashtag #LovefromLancsMind. We can not wait to see and share the entries and of course create another wonderful digital album and calendar for everyone to enjoy at the end of it all.”
In 2020, we received hundreds of entries for the Love from Lancashire competition and, as a result, we created the first ever Lancashire Mind calendar which is now hanging up in hundreds of houses across Lancashire and even further afield. Sales from the calendar also raised over £2,000 to help support the work that Lancashire Mind does.
There will be a Gold, Silver and Bronze place. These images will feature in the calendar alongside a further 9 images.
