Local organisations and helplines

Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provide a range of services for children and adults who are experiencing a mental health condition. Their services include:

  • Mental Health Helpline (Lancashire): 0800 915 4640, open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for people concerned about their own health or that of a friend or relative.
  • MindsMatter: Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Trust provide the MindsMatter service, which offers access to talking therapies in Lancashire for adults aged 16+. You can self-refer to the service.
  • Lancashire LGBT: Lancashire LGBT provide support to LGB and/or T people in Lancashire to be happier, healthier and well connected with a variety of services including peer and support support. You can self-refer to the service.
