Both focused on improving your wellbeing whilst giving you the chance to raise some much needed funds for your local mental health charity.
Host your own virtual crafternoon
Many of us have been spending a lot more time at home to help limit the spread of Coronavirus and keep us safe to look after our wellbeing, there are lots of activities we can do without going out that are fun and help us feel good - including crafting!
Why not get family and friends together online and spend some time crafting and enjoying each other’s company. This is a great alternative to all the online quizzes we’ve all been doing and is a great way to learn something new, connect, take notice and give- all things that are proven to improve wellbeing. The Virtual Mind Walk
Join people across the UK supporting their local Mind charity and walk for better mental health this October.
The original vision for The Mind Walk was for hundreds of people to walk together through central London in solidarity with all of us who experience mental health problems. Coronavirus makes this impossible. It also makes it more important than ever that everyone with a mental health problem gets support and respect.
Although we can’t be together in one place, we’ll walk together in spirit as one unstoppable community united in our mission for change, for understanding, for better mental health.
All you need to do is register to take part for Lancashire Mind, choose your route (of around 10km) and join us all on Saturday 17 October to fly the flag for better mental health and help make sure no one has to face a mental health problem alone. You can download our Mind Walk flag to use on the day too. For more details click here
