Radical self-care is an 8 week programme for people who identify as members of the LGBTQIA+ community, aimed at developing our ability for self-kindness and self-soothing.

This course is being delivered in partnership between Mind in Salford, Lancashire Mind and Lancashire LGBT and is proven to improve mental wellbeing and resilience and to foster a sense of connectedness with ourselves and others. Particularly helpful in these challenging times.

On this online course you will learn new mindfulness and self-care techniques in a safe group environment for 2 hours every week with 2 experienced practitioners. You will be given recorded practices to download and use between sessions. By the end of the course you’ll have a personal toolkit of practical resources to help support your emotional wellbeing.

The course start date is Tuesday the 22nd of June at 6-8pm, with the course running weekly for 8 weeks at the same time every week. The next course starts from Tuesday 13th July, 6-8pm.

Once you have registered, our team will be in touch with you to discuss the course further and to provide more information.
