Why is World Mental Health Day so Important?

” World Mental Health Day 2023 is an opportunity for people and communities to unite behind the theme ‘Mental health is a universal human right” to improve knowledge, raise awareness and drive actions that promote and protect everyone’s mental health as a universal human right.

Join us for the World Mental Health Day Chorley Take-Over

On Tuesday 10th October Lancashire Mind will be in venues across Chorley.

We would love to see you there! Come along for a chat with our staff and well-being coaches to find out more about what we do. Whether you need some support to improve your mental health or you want to learn how to stay mentally healthy.

Explore this year’s theme with your pupils: Mental Health is a Universal Human Right. Sessions are interactive and encourage pupils to engage in important discussions about Mental Health. Two sessions are available, led by our CYP Team: Key Stage 1 & 2 or Key Stage 3
