Welcome to our adult services, providing projects for those aged 18 and over throughout Lancashire.
Over the years our team has delivered a range of projects including; a five year ‘Building Better Opportunities’ programme, our bespoke ‘Money and Me’ programme which supports individuals with their mental health which has been impacted by financial worries and also our ‘Cost of Living’ project which supported individuals from racialised communities who had been impacted by the cost of living crisis.
We are a friendly and supportive team who are committed to supporting all communities in Lancashire with their mental health, especially those facing additional barriers. We are proud that all our coaches have an accredited qualification from the British School of Coaching.
Current Project Highlight
Connecting Communities
Our Connecting Communities project is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund. Designed for South Asian communities across Pendle and Burnley, with culturally sensitive wellbeing workshops. Through this project, Lancashire Mind is working with South Asian communities to support people aged 16+ to overcome barriers and challenges to achieve positive mental health and wellbeing.

Virtual wellbeing coaching for children from the age of 10 and adults across Lancashire
Wellbeing Coaching is a low level, preventative approach to wellbeing and mental health. When working with one of our wellbeing coaches you will explore your own mental health and wellbeing through six, one-hour sessions. Topics that are covered in wellbeing coaching include:
- Anxiety
- Stress
- Low mood
- Worry
- Relationships
- Routine
- Sleep
- General health and wellbeing
Current Project Highlight
Adult wellbeing coaching
Lancashire Mind’s Adult Virtual Coaching service supports adults aged 18+ living in Lancashire to improve their wellbeing. We support adults to set goals make positive changes in their life to increase wellbeing, confidence, and resilience. This may be done through identifying healthy coping strategies, supporting adults to increase low confidence levels, developing a support network, and incorporating self-care into a healthy routine.
Support will also involve education on the Five Ways to Wellbeing, as well as other practical tools such as mindfulness, deep breathing techniques and thought challenging.
