We are more than a mental health charity.
We’re a passionate movement leading the mental wellbeing revolution in Lancashire
Our vision is Mental Wellbeing for All and with your help we can stop misconceptions about mental health, develop resilience in people from an early age and work with communities to build a happier Lancashire. Together we can make Lancashire the beacon county for mental wellbeing and ensure everyone experiencing a mental health condition is treated as an equal member of society.
Lancashire’s mental wellbeing
We work collaboratively within Lancashire to shape a generation that won’t treat people differently based on their mental health. We believe that through partnership we can embed our values and beliefs, share experiences and improve people’s mental wellbeing across the county.
We are an independent charity focused on Lancashire. Whilst we work in partnership with the UK’s leading national mental health charity, Mind, we don’t receive any direct financial support from them. If you want the money you raise or donate to be spent on improving mental wellbeing in Lancashire please give to Lancashire Mind.
Working directly with groups of young people we focus on emotional wellbeing, and resilience building as well as offering individual support.
With a consistent approach to managing mental wellbeing you can create a workplace where people feel supported and thrive.
Our Wellbeing Coaches can work with you to enable you to make different choices to improve your mental health and wellbeing.
Partnering with housing associations, we provide tenancy management support to people experiencing low level mental health conditions.
Together we can build a Happier Lancashire
Volunteers and supporters are a key part of achieving Lancashire Mind’s vision of mental wellbeing for all. Whether you work for us, volunteer your time, fundraise or simply follow the 5 ways to wellbeing in your daily life.
