We are more than a mental health charity.
We’re a passionate movement leading the mental wellbeing revolution in Lancashire

Our vision is Mental Wellbeing for All and with your help we can stop misconceptions about mental health, develop resilience in people from an early age and work with communities to build a happier Lancashire. Together we can make Lancashire the beacon county for mental wellbeing and ensure everyone experiencing a mental health condition is treated as an equal member of society.

Lancashire’s mental wellbeing

We work collaboratively within Lancashire to shape a generation that won’t treat people differently based on their mental health. We believe that through partnership we can embed our values and beliefs, share experiences and improve people’s mental wellbeing across the county.

We are an independent charity focused on Lancashire. Whilst we work in partnership with the UK’s leading national mental health charity, Mind, we are a separate organisation and don’t receive any direct financial support from them. If you want the money you raise or donate to be spent on improving mental health and wellbeing in Lancashire please give to Lancashire Mind.

Latest news

Lancashire Mind has been working closely with families to develop a new support package. Learning from these experiences, we have created Together Workshops to support families of children and young people who have accessed (or who are at risk of accessing) in-hospital mental health services. These workshops are available across Lancashire and South Cumbria.

Visit the Together Workshops page to read more information.

Thanks to everyone who took part in Mental Elf 2018. Despite the cold and wet weather more than 350 elves participated in the 5k in Witton Park and lots of people enjoyed the festive market place. Thanks to our sponsors Motor Point Burnley, Kinnerton and Story Homes who helped to make it a great day for everyone and thanks to Lancashire Telegraph who’ve written a great feature article about Mental Elf.
