Children & Young People Volunteers
The role
We are looking for volunteers to support our CYP team with delivering services to children and young people. Can you help?
The CYP team deliver a range of projects primarily in partnership with schools, but we also deliver projects to community organisations and groups. The projects we deliver support Children and Young People in Lancashire to develop resilience, positive coping skills and understand their own and others mental wellbeing.
Essential Requirements:
Lancashire-based
Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
Non-judgmental with a positive attitude to supporting individuals from different backgrounds
Desirable Requirements:
Direct experience of working with children and young people
Time Commitment:
Half a day up to 2 days per week.

Parent Advocates
The role
We are looking for volunteers to advocate for and to promote our parent workshops to other parents on social media, face to face and at parenting events. Can you help?

Member of local parenting groups
Experience of supporting a child or young person struggling with their mental health

Marketing Volunteer
The role
Are you looking to gain experience in marketing in the not-for-profit sector, and/or someone seeking work experience before returning to work after a career break?
The role would provide opportunities to get involved in varied and interesting aspects of marketing, including campaigns, website administration, stakeholder relation management, event planning and social media management working with and reporting into the Marketing and Communications Manager.
Essential Requirements:
Marketing experience, both online and offline
Good IT skills A confident communicator Familiarity with Facebook and LinkedIn
Desirable Requirements:
Experience of using a CRM database
Experience of working with a WordPress website Familiarity with X (Formally Twitter), Instagram and TikTok Skills in Illustrator, Photoshop and Canva

Graphic Designer
The role
The Graphic Design Volunteer will design content for marketing, branding, and social media campaigns. They will conceptualise, design, and create mock-ups from small enhancements to entirely new designs. Projects will range from designing social media graphics to participating in large projects to market Lancashire Mind.
This role would be suitable for a junior graphic designer, to build up their portfolio or someone who wants to understand more about the not-for-profit sector.
Essential Requirements:
Design clear, engaging graphic communications for print and the web. This may include logos, direct mail pieces, branded promotional items, website and social media graphics, posters, flyers, and other marketing materials as needed.
Work closely with the executive staff to translate messaging concepts into marketing materials.
Have skills in using Illustrator, Canva and Photoshop
Good IT skills
A confident communicator
Desirable Requirements:
Experience of using a CRM database
Experience of working with a WordPress website
Knowledge of Adobe software Some marketing experience
Time Commitment:
Approximately one or two days per week
