Are you a parent or carer in Blackpool? Parenting comes with its unique set of challenges, and sometimes, it helps to know you’re not alone. Our Parent & Carer Peer Support Programme offers a relaxed and welcoming environment where you can connect with other parents both virtually and in-person.
Shared Understanding:

Meet others who understand the challenges of parenting, share experiences, and build lasting connections in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Informal and friendly sessions, supportive group discussions and peer support training.
What is Peer Support?
The Peer Support programme is an innovative, person-centred mental health initiative designed to support parents and carers across Blackpool. The programme offers multiple support routes from live virtual workshops to in-person support.

Access our workshops
Lancashire Mind is hosting a series of free virtual and in-person workshops for families with children from age 5- 25. Parents, carers or guardians are welcome to join any or all of the workshops.
Please note: this service is for those living in Blackpool (including Fylde and Wyre).
Virtual drop-in sessions:
Grab a brew and join us for a chat about all things parenting, from 9.30 – 10am.
Or book a 10 min private slot between 10 and 10.30am.
