Are you a parent or carer in Blackpool? Parenting comes with its unique set of challenges, and sometimes, it helps to know you’re not alone. Our Parent & Carer Peer Support Programme offers a relaxed and welcoming environment where you can connect with other parents both virtually and in-person.

Shared Understanding:
Meet other parents and carers who’ve faced similar challenges, and build a network of support.

Safe Space to Share:
Talk openly about your experiences, worries, and triumphs in a judgment-free environment.

Forge meaningful relationships with others who understand the ups and downs of parenting.

What is Peer Support?

The Peer Support programme is an innovative, person-centred mental health initiative designed to support parents and carers across Blackpool. The programme offers multiple support routes from live virtual workshops to in-person support.

Lancashire Mind is hosting a series of free virtual and in-person workshops for families with children from age 5- 25. Parents, carers or guardians are welcome to join any or all of the workshops.

Please note: this service is for those living in Blackpool (including Fylde and Wyre).
