mental elf 5k fun run

Lancashire Mind Annual Fundraiser

Mental Elf is our annual fundraiser with the emphasis on fun! We’re challenging Lancashire to get down to Witton Park on Sunday 2nd December to get moving and connecting with others. We have a Festive Market and a 5km fun run on the same day in the same place, so whether you’re a hopper or a shopper you can come down to join us for a fantastic day out.

The 5k run is all about getting dressed up in your best Elf outfit, moving and enjoying yourself. It doesn’t matter if you’re a seasoned runner or prefer a stroll in the park, the event is for everyone.

Lancashire Mind’s vision is mental wellbeing for all; we want everyone in Lancashire to be aware of and know how to improve their wellbeing. Regular physical activity is associated with lower rates of depression and anxiety. An active lifestyle not only keeps our bodies healthy, but makes us feel good too! By taking part in Mental Elf, people boost their own wellbeing as well as helping other people across Lancashire.

So whether you want to run, skip, hop or jog your way across the finish line we really appreciate your help in raising vital funds that allow us to continue doing what we do. Come alone or as part of a group, our team of Elves will make sure you have a blast!

Mental Elf 2018 will take place on Sunday 2nd December at Witton Park in Blackburn.
Sign up for Mental Elf 2018 now!

The market is open from 10.30am until 2.30pm. Registration for the 5K opens at 10.30am. The pre-run warm up commences at 11.45am on the outdoor running track and the run starts promptly at 12 noon.

All runners will get a goodie bag at the finish line containing bottle of water and other treats! Medals will be given to all Elves who registered on line prior to the event. Refreshments are available inside for purchase.

Please be aware we will be filming and snapping photos and taking lots of ‘Elfies’ throughout the day.
