Three Lancashire Mind teams are celebrating successes in the Pendle area - well done to our Children & Young People (CYP), Wellbeing Coach and Community Engagement & Inclusion teams!

Resilient transition support for Year 7s

James, CYP Coordinator started resilient transition support for year 7s - a 5-week project to help pupils overcome any challenges of moving from primary school to secondary school. This is part of our Bounce Forward programme focusing on resilience for children and young people. James' first session went brilliantly - and greeted with a fully engaged, supported and well-organised school.

The Pendle YES Hub flourishes

Lancashire Mind wellbeing coaches, the Job Centre and Princes Trust and Active Lancashire and PACT (positive Action in the Community) have come together to create a hub to support and develop 16-24 year olds via a range of activities as well as helping them to access employment.

Thanks to the great work the Hub has been doing, funding has been extended for another year - so all credit to everyone involved.

A network of support & wellbeing in Nelson

A group of Ladies in Nelson have been working on the Community Wellbeing Challenge with Lancashire Mind's Community Engagement & Inclusion Coordinator, Jo. The group has learnt about looking after their own wellbeing and are launching a new group for Ladies in Nelson to support each other with their wellbeing and share skills. The group is called Females First Forum - Make time for you!
