Lancashire Mind’s new Adult Virtual Coaching service supports adults aged 18+ living in Lancashire to improve their wellbeing. We support adults to set goals make positive changes in their life to increase wellbeing, confidence, and resilience. This may be done through identifying healthy coping strategies, supporting adults to increase low confidence levels, developing a support network, and incorporating self-care into a healthy routine. Support will also involve education on the Five Ways to Wellbeing, as well as other practical tools such as mindfulness, deep breathing techniques and thought challenging.
The support involves attending 6 weekly sessions of wellbeing support which are delivered virtually over a video-calling platform such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams. The support is tailored to each individual person’s needs with positive wellbeing goals being set in the first session, and this will form the basis of the support.
Wellbeing concerns that we can support with include anxiety, low mood, stress and worry, low confidence, anger, and loneliness. Please be aware that we are not a counselling or crisis service, and we cannot support anybody who is already receiving therapeutic support.
This is a free service to all adults over the age of 18 who are residents of Lancashire. If you are able to donate and pay what you can for the service you have received, this will allow us to continue to deliver our free services for those who can’t afford to pay.
The service can be accessed through a self-referral, or through a referral from a professional or other organisation. To send a completed referral, to request a referral form, or for any general enquiries, please send us an email at [email protected].
