Lancashire Mind supporters have raised an incredible £3,788 through The Great Manchester Run event.

Supporters took part in both the 10k and half marathon events covering over 145 miles between them all in aid of better mental health for all in Lancashire.

Fundraising Lead Emma Bateson said: “We are so proud of all the Lancashire Mind runners. It was amazing to meet so many of them on the day, see them proudly wearing our t-shirts, wish them well and see them over the finish line. We’d like to thank every one of our runners for their incredible efforts on the day and for their fundraising efforts.

“Events such as these offer a great experience for anyone wanting to fundraise for Lancashire Mind they are perfect to take part in as a group or as an individual. With everything organised for you on the day all you need to do is fundraise, turn up and enjoy the atmosphere.”

£3,788 could enable Lancashire Mind to deliver over 35 Happier Lancashire talks introducing simple daily actions which can boost their own and others mental wellbeing. 35 talks could reach over 1,000 people in Lancashire.
