The Whole School Approach has been delivered in schools across England and Wales since 2018, with the aim to raise awareness of mental health and wellbeing across the entire school community. This year, Lancashire Mind have created short videos and resource booklets of the activities that would usually be delivered by us in your school.

Happier Lancashire is Lancashire Mind's universal campaign focussing on the 5 Ways to Wellbeing. Activities for each of the 5 Ways can be done socially distanced.
Stressbuster
A 30 minute video on Lancashire Mind's 'Stressbuster' session, with options to pause for discussion and activities.
The session looks at what stress and pressure is, and talks through quick exercises on how to relieve present moment stress.

School Staff Wellbeing - How to have a conversation about mental health
This 30 minute video is for staff, and talks through: mental health statistics in the workplace, starting, managing and closing a conversation about mental health with another person, signposting information, as well as some extra downloadable scenarios/activities for you to try yourself here:

In this episode of the Mental Health Family Hour, teachers' wellbeing is discussed with special guests Richard Slinger from Lancashire Emotional Health In Schools and Wendy Hart and Sam Harding from CAMHS.

We are running our online Together Workshops for parents and carers of the 8 Whole School Approach schools. The Together Workshops are a safe, respectful and supportive space where parents & carers can share experiences, learn from others and take away new tips & techniques in supporting family wellbeing when your young person is struggling. The Wellbeing Passport and card are tools for young people and their supporters to help them to share information about their mental health and emotional wellbeing.
