Fundraising is a great way to support your local mental health charity, Lancashire Mind. All the money raised for Lancashire Mind stays in Lancashire. The amazing support we receive from our fundraisers means that we can change lives across Lancashire as we work towards our vision of Mental Wellbeing for All. Thank you!
Social distancing and the cancellation of many events means that the way in which you as an individual, or your company or group may be able to fundraise for Lancashire Mind has changed. However, there are still lots of great ways that you can support us. Please take a look at the following for some suggestions:
Are Mind and Lancashire Mind the same?
Lancashire Mind is a local Mind organisation. We're an independent charity, run by local people for the people of Lancashire. If you fundraise for Lancashire Mind, the money raised will stay in Lancashire and be used to provide support and services for people locally.
Mind, is a national mental health charity that campaigns for better mental health and provides support to the network of local Minds. If you fundraise for Mind, the money raised will be spent nationally to further the work of Mind across England and Wales. How fundraising helps
could deliver a whole school assembly on the five ways to wellbeing, helping children to look after their own wellbeing
could provide a course of 1-to-1 coaching sessions for someone who is facing barriers to achieving good mental health
could answer calls to up to 100 people, providing emotional support and signposting them to the help they need
Give in memory
By supporting Lancashire Mind in memory of a loved one, we are able to support more people when they need it so no one has to face difficult times alone.
We run a number of events throughout the year. Visit our events page to what we have coming up!
Lancashire Mind is registered with the Fundraising Regulator, the independent regulator of charitable fundraising. Established following the 2015 cross-party review of fundraising self-regulation, it works to ensure that charities who raise money from the public do so appropriately.
